Problem with formatting a USB Flash Drive [Toshiba 64GB].

Hello all,

I need a little bit of basic help with formatting a memory stick. I have tried it on 2 computers and numerous USB ports. I can't seem to get the flash drive to format. It says "Cannot format".

Or to save you downloading software.

Open command prompt, type diskpart, then list disk. Look for a disk that matches your usb (i think only size is listed), select disk #, clean. You should now be able to reformat your flash stick to whichever format you wish. If this doesn't work then it's likely the memory has corrupted.
