Hey guys.
My friend has two PCs, one for home and one for Uni. He has recently got in to World of Warcraft and while it runs absolutely great on his Uni PC (it's a good system) it's very poor on his other system.
I've got 2 sticks of 256DDR RAM and a fairly old, but still decentish graphics card and told them that if they worked in his PC he could have them.
Was pretty sure the graphics card wouldn't work, as I was sure his PC came out before PCI-Express but I wasn't sure about the RAM.
So anyways I tried both and neither worked.. the graphics card wouldn't fit and when we tried the RAM his passing just kept beeping when we turned it on.
So I took them out and replaced everything as it was but now there is a problem. When his PC loads up it gets to the point where XP normally asks you to logon but instead there is a black screen and a message saying something like 'Couldn't locate MSACM32.dll'. Try reinstalling it to fix the problem'. (says Isass.exe in the blue bar at the top of the popup) But when we click okay nothing happens and the computer has froze.
Anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks.
