Problem with itunes connecting.

When i try to connect to the itunes store to recieve the information for a CD, track listings, artwork etc it fails to connect. Running the diagnostic that the software gives it shows that the computer has an internet connection but says

"Connection attempt to Apple web site was unsuccessful.
The network connection timed out.
Connection attempt to iTunes Store was unsuccessful.
The network connection timed out.
Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was unsuccessful.
The network connection timed out."

I would hazard a guess at it being the routers configuration, its a Linksys WAG354G. When i had a look at the configuration i couldnt find anything which immediatly looked wrong and would stop it from working....

There were no immediate options for blocking ports or anything like that, itunes runs on port 3689 i think?

Anyone able to give me a hand?
