problem with launching some programs

Hi,

I run 64bit windows vista and sometimes I launch an application and it shows in the process manager but a gui doesn't appear.

2 examples are:

Iron (a google chrome fork) http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_download.php

and with vista audio changer http://www.vistaaudiochanger.com/

with iron it happens with the installer and the portable version, with vista audio changer it happens with the exe i.e. it installs fine

Does anyone know why this might occur and how to fix it?

ok fixed it, it was comodo firewall playing up.
