Problem with mobo

Hi guys I just got my mobo and I couldnt find the audio drivers for it.

My mobo is ASUS STRIKER II EXTRAMA 790i Motherboard.

I tried ASUS Website, downloaded the ONLY audio file there is and it says the file doesnt support the hardware I have.

Any ideas?

Are they not on the CD that came with it? If not thats highly unusual.

The CD is still with my friend and I hope to get the sound working today. So I was wondering where I can download the file from online?

is the sound card on that on a pciX board?

Have you tried a windows update? Sometimes a driver will get pulled down with that. I've never taken my Mobo CD out its packet, I get the nvidia drivers straight off their site and the sound drivers come on an update.
