Problem with motherboard

The motherboard is a 378 with a pentium 4 processor, this was bought a while ago. Everything goes fine, turns on for approx. 7 seconds, time enough to spin the harddrive and then turns off straight away, any suggestions?

whats your full system? how many sticks of ram ect?

As it has it has no RAM in

but with RAM in its still the same

board is probably fuubard thats what mine was without beeps.. with no ram it should beep regardless..

I am really stupid, i dont think i have plugged in the speaker? should there be a small 2 wire cable to plug it in?

it goes into 2 pins near the on of pins usualy
