OK, so I've put my computer together, plugged everything into the right place (as far as I'm aware), plugged the computer on and tried to power up for the first time.

Nothing.

When I press the power button on the front of my rig, nothing happens at all.

I've tried messing about with the Power Switch and Power LEDs, but still no reaction from it at all. I've checked the wires, they're all in fine, I honestly just have no idea.

Pics will be up shortly.

my first thought would be the kettle cable isnt working. prehaps because of a blown fuse, or its just broken. check the fuse, and if thats not the problem then see if you can steal a kettle cable from something else. most power hungry electrical things have them and they will all work just fine with your PSU

Have you plugged the 8pin ATX into the motherboard near the CPU?

Try manually jump starting the board by shorting the two pins to power the board on with a screwdriver tip.

Try one stick of ram at a time in all the slots?

Is it on at the wall socket/ back of the PSU?

Sorry guys, false alarm!

After stulid mentioned the 8pin connectors I tried pushing them all in further and the motherboard 20pin wasn't quite in far enough! Now it's all running nicely.

Thanks for the help anyway, guys :D
