Hi all, Not really sure where to put this as i suppose it is also classed as a graphics card issue although it is involving the output for HDMI to the tv...

Anyway, After i unplugged my media pc from my tv to move them to a differant side of the room i have not been able to get output from my Radeon HD3450 graphics card in windows (using a DVI to HDMI converter), Now i say in windows because it outputs fine on POST and in Safe mode, Also it is outputting fine when the ATI drivers are not installed, As soon as i install the drivers and restart i get to see the POST screen and the windows loading progress bar (only for about 2 seconds) then the screen goes blank.

It also works fine with the onboard integrated HDMI, I know it is actually booting into windows by remotly accessing the computer, I have tried adjusting the resolutions and refresh rates but have had no luck.

Has anyone had this before? if so please help it is really starting to frustrate me because it used to work fine before the move.

might sound dull but have you checked the output settings for the card are the same after re installing the drivers ?

yeh, I have tried a load of differant settings, Ive lowered the refresh rate right down to 25hz, I really am miffed on why this has happened, Is it possible that i could have damaged the DVI to HDMI converter whilst moving? although as i said i am getting picture before the driver is initialised in windows?
