Problem with my mouse

Hey all,

I just bought a new mouse, an OCZ eclipse lazer gaming mouse (OCZMSECD). I won't link you it, cos I got in trouble for that last time. But anyway, it was virtually new, barely a week old, got it from OcUK. Then all of a sudden, the mouse dragged to the bottom right of the screen, and refused to move, however it would still click. Even now when I plug it in, it clicks, but doesn't move the cursor on the screen.

I've checked the drivers and they are up to date.

Any ideas what the problem would be?

Conflicting drivers maybe?

Not sure, but i remembered some other stuff, if you drag it really fast and hard, and i'm talking about putting a lot of effort into it, the cursor moves, so its almost like the computer has turned its sensitivity to almost 0, ive been trying to find sensitivity settings on vista but there doesn't seem to be any.

EDIT - also, it only moves up and down, it won't move sideways, when i try sideways

hmm does it move or like move but go back to the middle?

hmm yeh could be conflicting drivers or devices even

but erm mouse settings in vista are

control panel then mouse then the pointer options tab

So, how would i go about confirming and then fixing conflicting drivers?

Also, when i go onto the mouse settings in control panel, windows vista says "this device is working properly", if that helps
