Problem with new folding doors

I bought some bifold doors for my extension at the end of October last year and paid a local installer to fit them shortly after, all went well. They cost me £2886 so certainly weren't cheap.



However, I've just noticed that all the hinges are starting to corrode, they look bad now but I'm also thinking what are they going to be like in 5 years time will they be in such a state that they don't even work.





I'm going to contact the company but what would it be reasonable to ask for?
If they send me some more hinges the same through they'll only corrode again after a few months, also I'll have to pay someone to fit them as the whole door and mechanism will have to come out.

Buy cheap pay twice.

Request proper stainless steel hinges not some crappy coated rubish.

Phone them up and ask them to replace the hinges with ones that are fit for purpose and dont let them fob you off with just sending the hinges. You want them replaced and fitted at their expense.

Hinges dont seem to be up to the job, perhaps weather corrosion. get them replaced by original fitter
