I previous had a slave HDD, which had 2 partitios on it, a main one for storing games etc, and a secondary one which had a Linux distro on it.
I'm now using this HDD as a master in a new system, and wish to totally reformat the whole drive. Its a 250GB WD drive. I loaded up off the XP disc, and started the setup. Its showing that it wants to create a new partition, and is showing only 131GB free space, so I'm presuming that the setup is leaving all the other partitions alone, which I don't want it to do.
Is there any way I can get to a DOS prompt and reformat the whole drive including all partitions. I don't have a floppy disc drive.
Thanks for any suggestions.
