Problem with PC

Not sure where to post this thread so i came here.

Right, sometimes, when i leave my PC for an hour or 2 and then go back to use it, i shake the mouse or tap a key on the keyboard to re-activate windows but nothing happens!! Just the TFT light flashing blue.

So, goes to the on/off button on my case (Antec 300) presses it in for 5+ seconds, nothing! PC won't shut off. Have to shut it off at the socket and then on again!

Now, if i go back to the PC after say 30 mins or so and shake the mouse or press a key on the keyboard windows comes on ok?!!

Anybody have some answers please?
 
Do you ever encounter issues in normal use ?
If not an easy (and it really avoids the issue) way to get around it is to turn the sleep/energy saving mode off and just run screen off when u leave the PC.
 
i used to have the exact same problem after i reinstalled vista and had all fresh settings. Its like the pc is in a deep sleep or something. I turned off the sleep option. And never had a problem since :)
