Problem with PSU? (Corsair 520W not powerful enough?!)

yep, thats what i thought - the moitors have their own power supply however it still has to send a signal to the ports though. the dual ports seem ok by themselves but not when used together.. anything else could be wrong? :o
 
you're right...

booted into windows with single lcd monitor; plugged in lcd tv and configured then rebooted;

system now posts and goes into windows vista without probs - how strange.

my only concern is that every so often (maybe 1 in 7 bootups) will result in a hang (pre-post) that seems to sort itself with a reset or unplugging the lcd tv :o

....wonder if its the gfx card... :(
