Right, I recently got this new PSU, A Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 850W
Now ive been very pleased with this PSU and its been really good to me.... until now...

It has recently decided not to work!
What happens is that you press the 'on' button on the computer, and it switches on, for a split second, then it switches itself off. Just all of a sudden.

Now ive tested the power cable, thats completely fine and electcity is getting into the PSU

And the motherboard Light is saying it recieves power, Buuut its not booting up properly at all.

Now i have tried another PSU and that works perfectly, i had the other one in for a full day and it worked without a fault, But the Be Quiet! is still not allowing the computer to fully boot up!

Any advice you have please?
I dont want to get another PSU
And i still have a warrentie with them (considering i bought this in September)
But i dont want to wait weeks for them to give me a replacement.

Any advice?
Many thanks
Guy

RMA time i would say:(

Not really the kind of thing you want to be opening up especially if still under warranty.

There probably will be a fuse inside that may have blown but opening psu will invalidate warranty.

Go for an RMA, it really doesnt take that long. last time i RMA'd something, it only took about a week from sending it off to getting it back.
