problem with samsung f 3

got a samsung 500 gig f3 drive and its not working properly ive checked with hd tune and its telling me write is disabled any ideas how to sort this

youve formatted it ect? maybe it was part of an array?

hi thanks it was part of a raid but i deleted the raid the other drive what it was with is fine it does a quick format but wont do a full one thanks for the reply
