Right I am a Tesco B/B user and have only ever used the one email address. I have just created a second email address for my bro in the 'My account' section of Tesco.

My question is do I need to do anything within Outlook Express to recognise the second email address?

I only ask because I asked a friend of mine to send a 'test' email too the second address but was hit with an error message.

Here is the error message he got:

This is the mail delivery agent at messagelabs.com.

I was not able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

[email protected]>:

81.103.221.10 does not like recipient.

Any advice.

Thanks in advance.

He will need to setup a mail account in OE.

Will need pop and smtp server details, a user name and password and will probably have to tick the "my server requires authentication" box

Also does your brother connect using the same Tesco BB account?

Okay so I've now created the second email address in OE. I have entered the pop and smtp detail, the user name and password and finished.

The problem I have now is that when I click the send/recieve tab it throws up a box wanting me input my username and password but I already done this when I set up the email address. Everytime I keep pressing okay it keeps popping up and I can't get rid of it unless I click cancel.

Any idea's?

Delete any mail in the outbox.
Make his account the default account. and untick any others in there he does not need.

As above is he connecting via the same tesco BB account as you.?

Yes he is. When I set the password to create his email address in OE I set it as the same I used too set mine. Is that okay?

Thanks again.

The error your friend is seeing is because the Tesco email servers don't recognise the chris20 email address.

Is it setup correctly ?
Is the spelling correct?

I've just tested that email address and the error would suggest to me that you've not setup the second email address correctly.

Messing with your OE at this point is a waste of time.
Go back to your Tesco control panel and check the second email address!

Thanks for your help guys. I took the easy way out and deleted that email address and created another one. Second email address now set-up.

Thanks again.
