Problem with Vista and my Gigabyte DS4

Can't get my sound to work? The disc that came with the board will not autostart like in XP? I have install the the sound drivers still no luck, any help would be appriciated. The disc says ver 1.0, I take it this means the mobo is version one can't see a label anywhere on the board given version number?

I am also having trouble with copying files they seem to take ages, and installing software when you have to unpack the software is a joke. Is there any fix for the copying problem?

Best bet - Just download the latest version of the sound drivers for that motherboard for use under Vista:

You need to explain a little more, what do you mean by, "It still not work?"

What's not working? What are you doing? What (if any) error messages are you getting?

Shouldn't need drivers, Vista has them all built in.

Ok sorry I have been fighting Vista all day. I can get my rear sockets to work but not the ones on the front of my case? They worked ok under XP with no problems, I have not changed anything.
