I have just got a new machine with Vista installed, it is not allowing me to connect to my router (Belkin F5D7632 ver 2000) and not connecting to the internet. I'm using a network cable by the way. i have tried updating the routers' firmware but this doesnt work. the network states that it is local only.
it was working fine on another connection (the chap i purchased it from)
everything works fine with my old pc with XP on this network so i assume that this is either vista settings or a problem with the router settings.
can anybody help?
