Not sure whats doing on with my system. Was using just an hour ago and it was perfectly fine, switched it back on 20 minutes ago and now its acting up.

The clock is updating every second for instance every second that goes by it goes up by one minute. Also the OS is loading extremely quick and loading programs that would normally take a few seconds is done within less than half a second. The only way I can describe it is like its in a turbo mode and its really doing my head in.

Help?

The clock thing I could understand, but programs suddenly loading super quick? If your heatsink has smoke coming off it, maybe reinstall your overclock at a lower FSB. ;)

Seriously though, I know I've come across the clock issue before, waaaay back when. Damned if I can remember what it was now though. :( Hopefully someone can help, and I'll post back if I remember.

Also:
WTF? Lol. Try a virus/malware scan, now!

Switched it on this morning to do a virus scan and now its ok

I know this is going to be completely daft but last night I had my windows open and it was extremely cold in my room. Can the cold cause vista to behave like this?

I'm sick of people bad mouthing Vista, ever considered that it was you experiencing time more slowly than everything else? :p
