lol sorry man

Want to bring it round mine and we can have a go

Leicester? Is that near?

Probably not faulty, might be overheating? Is it lying on the carpet or radiator at the back of it?

My 1st PS2 had problems when the radiator was behind it and on full blast, so rang up Sony and they gave me a brand new one from the factory.

If it is indeed faulty and it sounds like it could be then I'd say it was inevitable there were going to be some casualties, just as with the 360 and PS3 launch. I'd expect there to be less with the Wii though.

Seriously hard luck for you though, I hope it's just a glitch and not faulty.

its not on carpet, not by radiator, rather hot house though :p

If there is anything on your account that you want to keep.... VC downloads, save games etc. then you need to send it to Nintendo for a replacement... something like a 3 day turn around was quoted in the US though not sure if they are taking any longer.

If nothing you want to save then take it to a shop and you will have to wait for new stock... my guess is it will be quicker going down the Nintendo route.
Phone them to ask about turn around time.

the people at **** (competitor btw ;) ) are probably just trying to help you. They know you will get a quicker turnaround through nintendo than they can give you?

They lied to you and it annoys me greatly.
Your contract is with them. You can demand an immediate full refund.
Check out the sale of goods act on the DTI website.

That was kinda what i was refering to further up. If he asked for a refund, im sure they would give him one. But if he chose to do that then he has no wii for weeks(?) or shells out ~£400 and gets another from an auction site.

If i understood his post correctly, he just wants his wii replaced and the shop know that they wont be getting anymore in for x days, thus going straight to nintendo will most liekly be the quickest route to a shiny new wii.

my dad keeps telling me to get refund, but im like that leaves me with no wii

i just think the shop should replace it then they should get it replaced with nintendo as they have the consoles out back
