Problem with Windows Media Player

My media player doesn't play embedded website videos any more.

Well it does, but the video doesn't display, I only get the sound. I checked the codec it is using (windows media v8) and then tried to open the video in the stand alone player, which uses the same codec and displays the video.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you using 2 monitors?

As sometimes video will only display on your primary monitor.

I have also discovered that the videos do not display in the Catalyst Control Centre when selecting Avivo video settings. Have tried reinstalling media player and the graphics card and windows is up to date.

Any other suggestions?
