Problem with Wireless Network after installing SP3

on my gf's laptop the auto update downloaded Service Pack 3, so i installed it, but after it was installed the wireless network wouldnt connect anymore. i know the internet and router is fine but i think its the actual card inside the laptop, its a RaLink wireless LAN card. after SP3 was installed it would connect to the internet for a second then disconnect, then connect, then disconnect and just keeps doing it. so i ran a system restore to before i installed SP3 and it works fine now.

has anybody else had any problems or know how to fix it?

try download the latest driver for your wireless card - if that doesnt work ununstall sp3 from the laptop via control panel add/remove programs.

i'll try getting updated drivers for it, i've already ran a system restore to restore it to a few days ago and its working now so must just be a problem with compatibility with the current drivers and SP3
