hi, i recently bought a new pre-built from OCUK, ive already had to send it back because it wasn't overclocked to 3.0ghz and there was a hardware failure or something...
ok now the real problem :(

ive been playing this really old skool game called total annihilation, its like 10 years old...ive had this problem with this pc once before (before i sent it off to ocuk) but i just got it again.i was happily playing a game with someone over the net and suddenly lots of lines appear on the screen, the thing is all pixelated and on the right hand side of the screen its just black so i have no idea wtf has happened, maybe you guys could help.

Can you find the last 2 files' folders? or is it just the files missing, because the AppData folder is usually hidden if that's what you can't find. (show hidden files etc in the folder options and look again.)

Bit of a long shot but have you tried messing about with the compatibility options in xp (the ones you get from the propertied of the program shortcut)

TA is an old game. Not a lot of old games work well with Vista and I suspect this may be your issue. Do a search on the net and there's a few articles about online TA games with compatability problem between users with XP and Vista.
