Problem

every game? that setup will defeat everything.

you did a fresh install, newest drivers?

what operating system?

is the overclock working?

Well according to my friend i shouldnt of needed to wipe my harddrive at all,all i did was install the all the components start the comp up and ran the bio's on default didnt wipe my hard drive or anything

Running windows 7 btw

yep, reinstall, latest ATI drivers, motherboard and sound if needed.

run windows update to get patches and fixes.

and also run the windows experience index, so the OS "learns" your hardware.

i did run windows update and installed all latest drivers but problem persists,is the fresh install 100% needed?

considering you have changed the heart of your pc, yes.

and try to do the reinstall with the overclock in place.

enter the motherboard bios during startup, and load a user profile, should be one saved by ocuk with all the settings done, save and exit.

p. s make sure the DVD drive is the first boot device.

Dude guy new mobo usually means a fresh version of windows im afraid. Good look to ya. Also if you reset the OC to default your going to have to OC it again. Fortunately not too difficult with the i7's. =]

When in the BIOS look towards the bottom of the screen there should be a comment regards load CMOS from BIOS - I think it's F12

ok got it one more problem my monitor seems to randomly go into sleep mode on start up whats the thing with that.i have to hold the power button in to shut it down and try again

+1 for a fresh install of Win...
You will need to do this, as your old installation will have all the old drivers for your old mobo old graphics card and everything.
Even if you install the new drivers, it will not function as well as it could.

So FORMAT, and reinstall, and then install the latest drivers from the manufacturers websites.
