Had a problem with my new PC (It wont boot up). Just found out my motherboard and RAM refuse to work together. Can anyone give me a good working alternative that 's around the same price? Cheers!

(MY-097-CS)? It's the Corsair Value Select 2GB Kit which runs at 667Mhz.

or

(MY-095-CS)? The XMS2 2GB set?

When I had a DS3, the Value Select booted every time. In fact, I've not found a board yet that doesn't get on with it! (Although I haven't tried every one on the market you understand - yet! ;) )

Don't let the value tag put you off either, as mine happily run at 800Mhz+. Currently, I've got my E6300 running at 3Ghz which means the RAM is zipping along at 857Mhz with zero errors on both memtest and the blended orthos test.

Mind you, both your current RAM and the Corsair have gone up in price a bit since you put that shopping list together!
