So I bought windows 8 upgrade only to discover that my 64GB M4 didn't have enough space left on it for windows 8 to install. Bought a Samsung 830 128GB with the intention of cloning my M4 then doing the upgrade.
I've done 3 clones with Norton Ghost using the Samsung guide making sure to clone everything bootsector etc, but when I unplug my M4 and reboot off the 830 windows hangs on boot up at the "preparing your desktop" stage.
So I gave up with Norton Ghost and tried out Marcium Reflect, cloned the entire M4 and then unplugged it to boot up off 830, exactly the same problem!!
What the hell's going on?
