So I bought (http://ikuu.net/images/currentlist.jpg) new PC parts a week or so ago, and basically one of the RAM sticks was dodgy (bought the GeIL 2GB kit that was on offer) and now I've got the replacement.
Installed two sticks, everything boots up fine get into Windows and then BSOD, think it was IRQL (or IRQ) less than or equal, so I do a Google Search and seems the way to go is try and uninstall graphics card drivers and see what happens. So I try and boot into Safe mode, and it BSOD again, so I decide to just format and install Vista again.
With two sticks plugged in I start the installation and about 23% into Expanding Files I get another BSOD this time saying UDSF_FILE_SYSTEM, so I try with just the one stick and again around 20% of expanding files I get another BSOD this time it says MEMORY_MANAGEMENT.
So now I can't seem to do anything with the machine, no idea what to do now, think it's a faulty motherboard? Don't think I've touched it in anyway since I had the machine running fine (with 1 stick) when I first built it. And it's the only thing I can really think that's wrong now?
Also, if it is the motherboard that is faulty I take it I can return it to OcUK for a refund, rather than swapping the part?
Edit: Oh yea, my machine still boots up (nothing on screen) for about five seconds, then 'shuts down' and boots up again and works fine. Think this could be a mobo problem aswell?
