There are two ways to connect the tablet to a computer. One is via HDMI to the GPU and the other is via connecting it to a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port that transmits display data.
My problem is I only have one HDMI on my INNO3D RTX 3080 which is being used to connect my LG C1 OLED TV to the PC as a monitor which I want to continue to use as a monitor. In desperation I've tried using the additional HDMI on my motherboard -a Z390 Aorus Master (which didn't work).
I also tried using the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 and this didn't work either. I'm suspecting, given the age of the Motherboard, the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 on that board probably doesn't transmit display data.
What are my options?
Would connecting a display port cable to the LG C1 OLED TV, enabling me to free up the GPU's HDMI port to attach the tablet to it work? I'm simply trying to mirror what I see on the LG C1 to the tablet
Thank you.
