I have 2x1Gb OCZ PC3200 XTC 2-3-3-8

The problem is that i have my cpu clocked @ 3Ghz 300x10 & i'm trying to run my memory at stock timings on a 133 divider ,so that it will be running @200Mhz 2-3-3-8 1T @2.8v

When i try this, the pc wont even boot  Anything less than the 140mhz divider & it won't boot

I have to drop it to cas 2.5-3-3-8 to get into windows,so its running at 214Mhz just now  But it won't boot on a lower divider

How come i can't get the 133 divider or below to work ?

Any idea's would be great

Brilliant guys, many thanks for the suggestions,i'll away & have a fiddle & see what happens

Do you think it would maybe be wise to change my ram over or keep it till i go X2 & see how it gets on with that cpu ? It also seems to struggle running cas 2 at anything above 200Mhz 2-3-2-7 is ok @ 200Mhz but won't post at the same timings @ 205Mhz

Another tip is to manually set the Max Asynch Latency and Preamble timings in the RAM menu, this can help stability, atleast I found it did :)

Try using MAL 9 / Preamble 8, its slow but it may help :) Have a fiddle around to find whats best for you.

You are a genius mate !!!

Changed both these settings & the divider works ok now :D Booted into windows @ 2-3-3-8 @200Mhz using the 133 divider.First time i've been able to do that.

Now to try & tighten them up a bit ;)

Cheers
