I have searched for similar problems and it does seem to be mentioned before, but not quite my problem, so I'll just describe my problem.
I have 4 drives in a vista computer I wish to share, now the thing is that 2 of the drives share over the network perfectly fine, however the other drives, even though I set the exact same settings can not be accessed by the other computer.
I'm just baffled as to why some drives can be shared whilst other drives can not despite them being similar drives (same make etc, 3 of them being SATA, and one being PATA, the PATA one shares fine) and having the same sharing settings set. Even if I disable the sharing on other drives before I enable the other drives sharing it doesn't work so it doesn't appear to be a problem with sharing too many drives at once. I have also tried changing the drive letters and pretty much everything I can think of, and I'm not sure if it's a bug in vista or and something I've simply missed.
Any help into fixing this would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
