hey all, thanks for your time if your reading this.

recently i built a new pc for gaming/college use and i decided since i just upgraded my internet i would try to stream, however... when i run xplit and start streaming i notice my FPS in-game goes down to about 45 and the game gets really choppy, at first i thought it was because my PC couldn't handle the game on max graphics, and stream at the same time, but when i turn it to low the FPS doesn't even go up.. still at 45. open up fraps and on the exact same game i get a solid 60 max settings everything on ultra. here is my internet results if anyone is interested or has a solution, thanks in advance.

Seems like xplit is limiting your fps to 45 to match your streaming output? I don' have any experience it with myself so hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.

I have used OBS without any issues though.

think i found the problem.... Vsync was capping me at 45, i turned it off and it went well above 200

Edit ~ seems to be jittering a bit though, any ideas why?

OBS is a great program. Have you tried (on obs) just recording locally, instead of streaming and see if you get a similar issue?

Remember, it's not just about your net speed, it's also about what viewers may handle too.

2k - 3000kbps CBR seems to be the most used/recommended.

You really could be doing with streaming, having someone watch and providing feedback etc.
