having a bit of a weird problem, on two computers. I've fixed it on one (vista) by using the system restore, i think its a recent windows update that caused the problems. basically, one of two things happens
either 1) sites (ie, on port 80) will load for a while, then stop working
or 2) sites won't work at all
but in both cases i can ping (both domains & ip's, local and on internet), and can connect to irc, and https:// works (which i believe is a diff port than standard http)
ive tried disabling firewalls (i only use zone alarm and router firewall, but router hasn't been updated for ages (And is latest version)
anyone got any ideas?
