problems with 275gtx sli

yer do you mean the little red button ? for clear cmos and it still isnt playing ball all it wants to do is install xp over and over again :mad:
 
This is what happens when you go for a non-Intel motherboard! :p

Not being a fan boy, just found them much more stable than their competitors.

got a big problem my 500gb hard drive is only showingt up as 128 with nothing on it :(
ive had enuff for one night time for bed

Good idea, not worth stressing yourself all night over it. Hope you have better luck tomorrow.

How about your other hard drive?
 
By the sounds of if - the problem was not clearing the CMOS settings after doing the flash. This board is a bit picky in that regard in that if you don't you get unpredictable results.
 
well iam back at my desk and get a big hello in the form of a C1 error on my motherboard Gr8 so i re set the cmos turn it completely off and took 2 stick off memory out so iam down to 2gb and 1x275 gtx and it boots fine now just about to install windows 7 fingers crossed:rolleyes:


update windows 7 works downloading nforce and geforce drivers i am going to go for the 190 version

update 2 drivers are in and working rebotted and loaded fine installing far cry 2 for bench mark now

YES ! running far cry 2 in sli no problpems :D WOO! i dont know what has solved it though the bios update or new drivers BUT iam getting worst performance in sli ? :confused:
 
eew just tried running FC2 benchmark on latest WHQL drivers (was working fine on older 180 drivers) and in SLI mode the screen is frozen with horizontal bars randomly flashing up... just a bit broken then...

EDIT: Eeew something is really messed up with the WHQL 190s and my setup - performance in ArmA2 has dropped 30% as well and it sticks on a black screen for ages before the 3D comes up at first.

damn i hate computer problems :( just about to re-install drivers ill let you know if they work for me

I'd go back to 186.18 - the newer ones are not happy with this setup - also avoid 185 as they were made by a different team to normal and are screwed - I suspect 190.xx were developed by the same muppets.
 
ive installed 186 drivers and ive got the same problem its all working fine in single card but when i turn sli i get less fps than with one card someone please help
