Problems with a mate's computer...

My mate is having some problems with a system bought from here.

He loads up into windows and after 10 mins or so the vista loading circle comes up and the screen fades away and goes black then it just switches off.

When he tries to reboot it say 'disk boot error press ctrl alt del to reboot'

And it goes round in a loop he has to leave it like an hour before he can switch it on again.

Any ideas?

I'd try a re-install if I was having similar problems.

tell him to check temps using core temp

Yer i was thinking it could be temperature problems.

Would real temp do the job?
