Problems with crossfiring 5770

right iv tested again 3d mark single gpu with 10.4 drivers and scored 14,000.

just finished crossfire and scored 17,000.

Again battlefield has slightly lower frames but it feels much better than it was. so far looking good/better at the moment. I shal try flight sim x later and see results on that.

it must be hard on the lil things running at max quality in CCC on a 42inch monitor ? no ? lol

Thanks for support lads.

well thats a tv not a monitor :p what resolution is it? size means nothing its resolution that counts
also you say your using max quality is that in BFbc2? and get 120fps dipping to 70fps with a single 5770 + a 3gig phenom?, exactly what settings and resolution are you using?

im on a 3.8ghz i7 with 2 OC'd 5870's @ 1920x1080 4xAA 16xAF and i cant hold 120fps, it will drop into the 80's/90's at times.. wish id bought a 5770 instead of 2 factory OC'd 5870's in CF tbh judging from your single card results :/

i had max settings in the graphics card options (CCC) everything set to quality. In game options set to max will give me around 80fps. however i dont run on full gfx because i cant see anyone ha!

yes tv 42inch and its HDMI 1920x1080p@60hz

stock 3Ghz phenom x4 940. so seems to be alright.

that leads me onto another question actually! This processor versus a i3 @ 4.2 Ghz. which is better for simply gaming? best performance for ramping the detail up???
Thanks for help
Regards.
