Problems with current ISP

Hey, im currently with Tiscali, all of a sudden now in the evenings i cannot play Online Games as every 10-20 seconds the game will freeze for about 2-5 seconds. At first i thought it was the game but tried all my other online games and the same happened. The reason i believe it is the ISP is that i can play online in the mornings fine, just when the afternoon/evenings start to kick in.

I have phoned them and as usual nothing is wrong according to them.

Does what im explaining sound like a ISP issue and can anyone recommend me a "Unlimited BroadBand Package" ( I know unlimited is not actually real but you know what i mean)

Its Tiscali, be carefull as if you play online games to much in the peak hrs from 6pm till 11pm you will get FUP'd, and after 3 be stuck on the bad boy pipe.

They will even give you FUP warnings if you browse to much during peak hrs.

I switched to AOL from Tiscali beginning June as they started traffic shaping, was only allowed 10-20k download speeds during the day,with zero upload, only time you got your full speeds was from 1am till around 8am, then it was back to the shaping, glad i got away now AOL is 100% Unlimited, no FUP, no shaping, throttling, absolutely zip, ive downloaded an absolute shed load since ive been on em, and my connection is till going strong, and you don't need to use the software.

Since Tiscali took over Lineone it's gone to the dog's in every sense of the word. I'd pimp Connie (AOL) if you are that way inclined (ADSL) or Bluey (BY)! if you bat for the other team (Cable).




* Please note having ADSL/Cable doesn't require you to bat for any team in particular. However if you have a thing for either Connie or Bluey it'd suggest you seek professional help.
