agnor my other noobish posting I might get a admin to disregard it, I can't really reuse it:/
basic into to this one, no noobish nonsonse this time.
1. is my mobo deing or HDDs or both
2. what boared should I get as a replament once I sorted RMA for the same price as mine( i noticed a few x48 boareds are close to my currnet Maxuismis 2 formular in price)
anyways my problems
1. it takes a few restarts before the comp will get into windows and stable enough to use, this happens all the time.
2. crashes in EVERY game after a certin period of time, for no reason... nothing is over heating... perforamce is fine that it just blue screens of death and restarts.
I ve had this boared since oct 2008 and I used to be able to play games as much as I liked with very few problems if any on the same settings as now.
may I attach a PIC on to this thread?
my specs than
thermaltake 700watt
q6600 OC model @3.6 voltage 3.9 9I would drop that)
1* sapphire HD4870 512
2* optical drives one blu ray
4Gb OCZ 1066 DDR2 platuim edtion
maxumis 2 formular P45 ROG(sorry about spelling)
2*250GB seagete hdds on raid "stripe" mode for perforamce
now the computer has a ABS/TAGAN 1100WATT piperrock EZ.. the problem started after I had a OCZ 800WATT eliteXstream powersupply unit it was faulty.. could this have damaged my HDDs or my mobo or a matter of both, I can't get the thing stable anymore =( with ethoir thermaltake or my new tagan =(
I don't mind blue screens but if they are very often its annoying and for the same things..these blue screens seems to relate to BIOS, the mobo is on the latest BIOS strange thing is that it didn't start this till after I had the Eltite Xstream and I had problems with voltage while my comp was runing with it.
with my new tagan I have no voltage problems at all, I just can't keep the comp stable no matter what I do :| it did this with my thermtake 700watt which I had one I first built this computer nothing else has changed :|
Ran HDD test only failed on the self drive test.
if the mobo is faulty what X48 mobo can I replace it for, for around the same price as £170 which I brought it for? I will consider gigabyte, asus(of course) and DFI maybe some others with persading. and on DDR2 wand onces that are VERY good overlockers and forgiving like my currernt ROG USED to be.. of course one that will last me
thank you for your time
I have blue screen or a bit of it nnot sure if I can attach it to this or not
