Problems with Hazro HZ27WC Glass Panel

A few days ago I brought a Hazro HZ27WC (with 'protection glass') off ebay, I got the monitor and noticed that the glass panel wasn't seated properly; hanging down on the left side by about 3mm (the right side was ~1mm from the edge so it sits at an angle) although it doesn't move and doesn't feel loose, however I did find that it obscures some of the pixels at the very top left.

I connected it to my brothers PC to test it (mine is currently in pieces as I'm modding it) and while it worked and didn't appear to any dead pixels it does have these marks on the screen, some of which appear to be dust but others are much larger and cause the pixels on the other side to be slightly blurred/distorted; they aren't issues with pixels as it moves around if you shift your vision but I've been unable to remove anything from the surface and they don't appear/feel like scratches on the surface.

There wasn't anything on the description that said anything about the panel or marks and the seller told me via e-mail that it was dead pixel/scratch free (although it does does appear to be, minus whatever is causing the blurred pixels).

The marks were kinda annoying on the desktop, although I didn't try playing a game with it but I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be worth trying to send back (primarily based on the glass panel not sitting correctly), or if not whether I could remove the glass panel; I know it'll be impossible to reseat without a clean room but I was wondering if the monitor would work without the glass or if removing the glass would destroy the screen. And if it is removable would it be like any other LCD monitor or would I have to be extremely careful with it like with the Dell Ultrasharps after removing the AG coating.

I know I couldn't replace it, was just asking if that's safe to remove it and leave it off. And how, all I can find is "it's not recommended", unless all glass panels are the same and it just pulls off.

The glass slipping down is a pretty common problem with those screens. There is a non-glass version of the WC so monitor will work fine without the glass on it at all. The question is will you be happy with the result? Not sure I'd be happy buying something that turned out to be flawed like that, unless it was all mentioned in the listing?

I have the non glass version of that screen and its good. But that was my preference because I don't like the reflective glare from glass fronted panels.

Clav is right imo, if you ordered the glass version then you may want to send it back as a matter of principal.

Yeah, I contacted the seller shortly after posting this about returning the item, no reply yet though. Nothing about it was mentioned, only reason I brought it was because it was described at dead pixel/mark free and ended up at a similar price to imported ones after tax and such; all the marks on it kinda make that pointless even assuming the glass wasn't hanging down.

In the event that I can't get a refund/return for whatever reason would the glass panel just need to be pulled off is it physically attached at some point?
