Hey guys, so I went and bought a new keyboard the other day and they came with the MX Cherry Red key switches, I was told prior to my buying experience that they were;
"The best key switches for gaming and they're okay for typing too."
So I was like alright, I'll go with reds as my last keyboard was blues, i've had it for about 5 days now, came on Monday and it's now Friday, so about 5 days and I just can't get used to it what so ever.
The red switches don't feel proper mechanical compared to the blues in my Black widow elite. I did a few typing speed tests and on this keyboard I average out at about 80-85wpm with a lot of mistakes and on my black widow around 95-110wpm with few mistakes, I don't know what it is, I was tempted to send it back, but because the keyboard came over international waters, it took a fair while to get here, so I wouldn't want to wait 2-3 weeks just to get a replacement.
Anyone else been in a similar situation with key switching?
