Problems with my network

I'm with virgin and i am meant to be running 60mb fibre connection.
Use to run fine and always got this speed but last few days i have been getting speed test results such as.

Family members in house are getting a lot better results than this, not sure what i could do to fix this?
Could it be my computer?

Any help please.
 
That's weird ive just changed what server i use to test on the speed test and i seem to get 60mb maybe virgin have a messed up link going to that server then...

Also i have just standard kit from virgin, its a super hub running just cat5 cable i think not sure, didn't know much about networks when i ran that cable!

Well could be the servers that you test to, I try to use london servers from work, as it's a 100mb connection, and others don't seem to be able to cope fuly all the time.
 
Its ever since virgin media did some maintenance i have ever since had problems, I'm thinking maybe my router just needs a restart.
 
I only used to get a decent result on Speedtest.net from the Namesco London server.
I would find on 50Mb I'd get results anywhere from 8Mb to 53Mb depending the test server.

Find a server that works and stick with it.

I try to click on the london server but the stupid massive green recommended servers blocks it!
