Problems with my SyncMaster 913n

Hi all,

I bought a Samsung SyncMaster 913n about 16 months ago as everyone on these forums was recommending them.

Since then I have found that the monitor often has issues displaying some text, I find that some fonts I come across online have a red or green outline to them. Is this a known issue and is there any software which will stop this from happening?

Are you using Cleartype since that can cause pink and green dots round text because it anti-aliases the edge of the characters. I don't think it's the screens fault.
