basically i bought a new monitor as my old one, when turned on the screen flashes white loads of times and has to be turned on and off again before it comes up as normal.
now i thought this was just a problem with the monitor but when i plug the new one in the computer wont turn on properly. it just turns on for about 10 seconds then restarts, it does this repeatadly until it will run properly.
i have plugged my old and new monitor into this other computer. the old one still does the flashing screen thing but the new one works perfectly fine so the new monitor definately works and my old one is definately buggered.
could this therefore be a problem with my graphics card too? and how can i find this out?
EDIT: i took out the graphics card and my computer seems to turn on every time first time now. obviously i cant plug any monitor into my computer now so should i look at buying a new graphics card?!
