Just fitted 2gb of OCZ Plat and now my system has become unstable. It runs at 240 x 10 = 2.4ghz cpu and 240mhz x 2 = ddr480 which is below the ddr500 rating of the RAM.
I have set the timings manually in bios and also tried a vdimm of 2.6/2.7/2.8 with no difference.
Basically it kicks me out of cs source after 5-15 mins of use and drops back to the desktop with a brief BSOD message which I cannot read because it flashes by so fast. I believe the ram is causing the issue because all was fine before.
DVD encoding and prime 95 present no problems at all but gaming does.
Any ideas please?
Also I have been told that on the NF3 mobos with 3 dimm slots like mine the ram should be placed in dimm1 and dimm3 instead of 1&2 - is this right?
