Ive got a dell dimension 5150 desktop PC and there's a few problems with it. I turn it on and it loads fine on to the desktop page but while loading the disk tray keeps opening half way then closing and it keeps repeating this for a few minutes then stops for a few then starts up again. Ive checked the eject button and that seems fine.
When the PCs been on for a few minutes the fan kicks in and it sounds like a hair dryer. I went into the windows task manager and went on performance and my CPU Usage is all over the place 26% then 74% then 43% and so on. Ive got all pages closed apart from this one i gave the PC a good clean with compressed air in the summer so i know it cant be dust build up.
