I have recently bought a rover 200 S Reg which the keyfob does not work. I can get into the car using the key on drivers side but when I come to start the engine the immobiliser cuts in and prevents me from starting the engine. It by-Passes the immobiliser after the 2nd to 3rd time of trying but I am worryed that eventually the immobiliser will completly prevent me from starting the engine. I have tried changing the battery in the keyfob which hasent helped and I dont have the code to probally By-Pass the immobiliser.
Any ideas on how I can reset the keyfob or immobiliser or any ideas on how to bypass the immobiliser would be greatly appretiated.
