I must have wasted 4 hours today trying to get this drive to work.
Put it in my main machine and originally it was seen in XP and I started to format it in the Disk Management tools like I have with my 2 WD 1TB hard drives.
It got so far and then told me formatting had not been successful.
After a while of failure trying to do it from DOS with an XP install CD-Rom I tried it on the PC upstairs with no luck.
I then tried it on my 'test' system I use for other people which consists of an Asus P5AD2 (!), 4 gig of memory and a P4 3.6 processor.
The pictures below show my most successful attempts of making contact with this drive (1st pic shows 0 MB) -
Does it sound as though it's no good?
