Problems with SF4 res

hi guys.
I cant figure this out.
i just opened sf4 and it was fine, but then it suddenly switched shape from wide screen to a square and now i cant get 1080 res?
Highest res it gives me is 1280x1024 so its completely stretched out :confused:

Please help.

Check the "Aspect Correction" settings in the "PC Settings" bit, make sure it's not 4:3, or manually try to force it on 16:9.

I had the demo of this installed, its graphic setup page is the same on Devil May cry 4. On one or both of them I had to change it from 60Hz to 59Hz to get more resolutions to appear.

Yeh, it was the 75 hz that was stoping it :-(

Any reason why you cant have certain display sizes at 75hz?

probably because you aren't running a CRT.

If you are running a crt, go for 85Hz or higher.
