Problems with Sun Java.

When I play chess in pogo.com using Sun Java, I get a harsh white noise intermittently. It is the same using any browser (FF, IE7, Safari, Opera) but doesn't do it if I uninstall Sun Java and use the Microsoft VM with IE7.

I use FF for everything now and it needs Sun Java to load Pogo. Anyone else experience this/know a fix?

What version of Java are you using?

The latest one - version 1.6.0 (build 1.6.0_02-b05).

You haven't got any 1.5.x or 1.4.x Java on your PC?

No. I'll try uninstalling & removing any registry entries.

Try CCleaner or RegSeeker to clean up your registry.

Have you checked the Java site for a support base? This could have happened to others before and so a fix might exist.
