Procedural Terrain Generation

Hey, I'm not looking for help.. I just wanted to share with you my latest project for Uni.. procedural terrain generation. I handed it in yesterday and I'm very proud with how it turned out! I tried explaining to the girlfriend how cool it was that this scene appart from the trees is made out of maths but she didnt really understand :p. I figured you guys might apprecite it more :)

 
no heightmap :p landscape is a fractional implementation of perlin noise followed by an inverse particle deposition (particle falls, climbs its way upto a peak and lowers the highest vertice by one - iterate that for random drop points over about 200k times) and finished off with height based smoothing (whole landscape is smoothed just once and then the lower altitudes, around water and below, are smoothed twice again)
