process1_initilization_failed !! Help?

As above. Getting a blue screen on Vista Ultimate 64 with that error.
Will only boot in safe mode without network support.
Also, bios randomly saying overclock failed. Have reset bios but still blue screen.
Any ideas?
Have googled but not really pointing anywhere.

I really do not want to reformat!
Also, possible motherboard/cpu error if warning over overclock fail?

Could be any hardware, not just CPU. Try removing the GPU if you have graphics on the MOBO and swapping out a RAM stick.

Checked your temps?

Temps seemed fine.
Fingers crossed, reseated major components, did a Windows Restore and seems OK now.
Not sure if maybe I had knocked case and loosened memory or something.
Reduced overclock too as didn't 'really' need that much!
